To all DIY shade tree mechanics about AC diagnosing.
There is a freon charging kit for sale in all parts stores. Bottle of freon, hose and pressure gauge.
Do not throw it away after use, you can always check pressure.
It should be about 70-100 PSI if AC is not turned on and 30-40 PSI when AC is on.
Maybe you can check pressure and return it, if you don't need freon.
