My morning started off normal as always. Drove to work, jeep running smooth as ever. 2 hours after my shift starts my dispatcher tells me my alarm is going off. This is a factory alarm so to disarm it you have to unlock the driver door from the outside. About an hour later it goes off again. So i disconnect both terminals and joined them together to reset everything.

This didn't work either because it just went off again as i was typing this.

Never had a problem like this before on any vehicle.

For now is there a way I can disable the alarm system but still be able to lock the car? (Just without arming the system)

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated!

Is there a fuse you can pull, either near the LH kick panel or under the hood?

But that might keep it from starting.

 

I checked for fuses and came up empty handed. Couldn't find anything related to the security/alarm.

 

Probably time to go to the dealership.
