airbag module replace

Long story short, airbag module shorted out by 32 ounces of sweet tea. Got one off ebay. Any advice other than just plug the new one in?

If you have never replaced a SRS/Airbag read up on it.
Can be very dangerous if your not carefull.

I'm not replacing the air bag. Just the module found under the console, behind the e-brake handle. Any suggestions?

1 - disconnect the battery
2 - replace airbag module
3 - reconnect battery
4 - code new module to fit the cars specs ( might not be needed )

job done.
