Default air filter ?

will it be good to put this filter straight on my throttle body? or would it be a bad idea? or just keep my stock intake? anythin helps yall

From what I have read on forums, people tend to keep stock. If I was you I would just get the standard paper filter. Spend your money on something else.

you need to attach the line that gos from front of valve cover and any other lines or sensor that is in the tube to the box dont think theres room

thats what ive een told by someone else but its only a $21 filter thats reusable

for that price just get a drop in K&N filter for your stock box

cant u just get a lil filter to fit on the end of that plug tho so that i wont need to connect them?

mine an 89 i went to pep boys bought a couple of pc of the air tubing they sell. its in the same area as the filter i think i bought 2 straight and a 45 pc cut the snorkel and ran the line from valve cover into the tube. drilled a hole and stuck the tube in i used a bigger filter and sat it in the old air box instant cold air in take. in this pic you can see the filter

i see how u did it,could i just put a cone filter on my stock air tube? instead of gettin new one?

oh ok,i reckon ill do that then,is spectre a good filter to use or should i shell out $60 for the K&N?

i used the spectre but its longer than the you posted and the lid to the air box cannot bet put back on when doing this i just laid it on the box gets clean air .im also running a lot of lift no water getting in it issues so dont go in deep water with the way i have it mi y filter is over 4 feet off the groung

i have the big spectre filter and i is just as good as the k&n filters as far as the tube mine is the 90 from the stock tube with a piece of 3" exaust pipe and then the filter the filter was $25 and the exaust tube was like $6 on the tube i put a $2 threaded adapter for the vac line to slide on so i have like $33 into mine i just need to make a heat shield to make it a legit cai
