Air Conditioning Compressor Problem, Fuse???

Default Air Conditioning Compressor Problem, Fuse???

My air conditioner compressor doesen't come on when I turn the selector to AC or Max. It worked fine last season. Any Ideas??? Thanks

If it is low on refrigerant it will not come on. Check the charge.

Or the low pressure switch is bad. I had to change mine this year. Its about 5 bucks. Try bypassing it and see if you get power to the comp.

That takes a set of gauges used by AC guys. But you can get a can of refrigerant and stick some in while the AC is switched on and if it starts up, it was under charged. Beyond that, you should consult a professional auto AC guy

Isn't there specs to follow when re charging?I just hate to spend $20+ a can and thats not even the problem

this worked great a can of freon when the compressor kicks spray it when it shuts off stopp...and repeat till it holds...great advice awsome post
