I just bought front seats from a 2000 XJ for $40 each. I have a 92 XJ and obvious the newer seats do not line up. I am planning to use my old seat rails with some mod work and after inspecting my driver’s side rail, it will need some welding work.

I am wondering if anyone out there knows of an after market seat rail that will work for this job.

Any help would be great!

I know this isn't what you wanted to hear, but when I didn't have seats in my 89 XJ I research the heck out of this . Found nothing for the older XJs. You will probably have to fab your own bracket out of the new and old brackets. Would be a great "How-To" post.

 

I haven't seen any aftermarket brackets. I've heard of people cutting out the bracket from a '97+ and welding them in.
