Aftermarket Running Light Questions...
So i bought some 55w running lights, came with crappy wiring, el cheapo toggle switch, just pos all together cept the lights, they work great, just wondering how to wire them correctly without risk of melting wires or blowing fuses, a schematic of wiring it right would be nice, i can run wire to and from no problem, just doing it in the right series, battery-relay-switch-fuse-light? battery-relay-fuse-switch-light? what would be correct? and why even use a relay? what amperage for the: fuse? switch? relay? what gauge wire? any help would be appreciated!

you relay so your not burning through switches that cant handle the amperage [most switches are 5amp] seeing as pictures say a 1000 words here ya go, saves you trying to understand my ramblings.
***colors dont matter thats just the schematic from some random set***
***switch in picture is a lighted switch***

no the power wire is for both the light on the switch and to trigger the driving light relay (through the green wire). The ground wire needs to be connected to light up the switch.
