Yeah, but who has the cash for that at first. I just have the intake, and exhaust is next, then maybe a larger TB but at least a TB spacer. All in time

when it was in to hondas the saying was IHE , intake header exuast, but its jsut the simply idea u need to have yourcar/ truck breath. and it is understadably that the avg person wont do it all in one shot, but must be understood that even if u have the intake u need the exuast. But i think i will go with intake tb header exuast. there is alot of ppl that say both ways about the tb spacer but no oen complains about bored tb header or exuast and i jsut love the sound of a cai even if it is not a true one :-p

Dont get me wrong I understand this well. But, as I see it you don't need a header on the cherokee. Exhaust is coming next because its a heck of allot cheaper then a TB.

if you truely offroad your jeep you do not want a cone filter setup!! "unless you wheel in the desert". That pretty little cone filter is going to suck up water like a straw!!!

Don't know about that, mine uses the original air box and a shield.. Though I don't plan on forging water past my doors since my interior is too precious. haha I see your point though.

we have different ideas on what offroading is!!! I have personally pulled two vehicles out with my jeep that hydrolocked because of cold air intakes, and i promise you that the water was no where near being above their hood. I can actually get pictures of one of the vehicles i pulled out, they are on my girlfriends computer ill post them tonight

im just speaking from experience iv never seen a cold air that uses your stock air box and a sheild! So maybe that setup is a better design then the ones with out using the air box.

leave the cold air intakes for the hondas and for the same money buy a snorkel.

i use an aftermarket panel filter in my stock air box and a throttle body spacer & a borla catback i found a marked diffrence in responce after this, its a lot crisper and has a bit more grunt low down. and the lot cost me £110 second hand but mint with all the fittings.
