...i finally got it down to what i want. You guys know how it is with so many aftermarket companies out there, it's so hard to choose exactly what you want. So after a couple weeks of researching (my eyes BURN!) i finally finalized my setup. Please recommend or advise against whatever you feel is right/wrong.

2-2.5" OME lift (whatever the springs give me: 930/spacers / HD CS035RA OME leaf springs)

OME 1-3" shocks

31" LTB's on factory steelies with spacers. If i have $$ leftover, i'll get some white steelies.

JKS front trackbar

4wd's sye kit and front xj shaft

Rusty's engine/oil pan skid

That's about it for now. I will lift it and then bumpstop it properly so i don't have to trim. I might pick up some extended brake lines (yj) if needed. I know i need em for the back for sure.


Anyone running the ltb's on their rig? i gotta see how it looks cuz i loved em on my TJ.

 

i have a question. why did you choose the OME kit? for about the same price you can get a RE 3.5" kit.

also i would look into the DPG engine skid if you havnt already.

I didn't choose it, the price lured me in. I got the rear springs new for $175 (both) and shocks for $160. All i need is front coils. I had no intentions of ditching out $800 for the complete kit, that's ridiculous cuz the kit's not complete

For the first time ever, i had patience to look around for good deals and landed some. I would go with RE but i've run OME on my TJ in the past and it's hands-down the best riding suspension available. Re gives too much lift (for my likings) anyways.

I already have rusty's engine/tranny pan skid so i'm good there. I know it's not HIGH quality but it's good enough for the mudding i do. I don't see too many rocks that will bend it. Thanks though.

 

oh in that case it looks like you got a good deal, i was worried you were thinking of the complete "kit"
