Has anyone installed an after-market rearview mirror with compass and temp on their Cherokee?

Gentex 177 from a 97 Tahoe. Lots of info through Google search on what wire goes where, also a thread at NAXJA where a few of us have done it. In the picture forum.

I still have to wire mine in, once i get a chance..

 

What about a separate compass/temp gage? anyone know of something easy to install without having to buy a $200+ mirror?

I have an after market mirror in mine.Its billet aluminum with flames.Its from AllSalesManufactering,I got it through JCWhitney.

 

I'm just looking for a simple way to add a compass and temp display....don't need it the mirror necessarily...

most auto part stores have those compass/temp combo for your dashboard.

go to jcwhitney.com. there are a few digital outdoor temp gauges and a lot of compass's

 

Mine cost under $20 shipped... i did have to go to a upull and get the pigtails and temp sensor for another couple dollars.


Radio Shack and the like also have a temp readout that went for $20 or so. Compass you can pick up anywhere... boating supply store etc.

you can search in the internet, there are a lot of information about the rear view mirror camera. you will surprise and be happy what you get, they are more than you can get here, but also here is very useful for you.
