Could be brake fluid. Longer lines that come with the kit require more fluid to fill them. That could affect your abs as well. Also check for leaks in the system. And which 4.5 lift did you get the x series, or the long arm?

I dont think that kit comes with longer brake lines, which you should need. with that high of a lift. Also something to look at is a brake bleed kit. there could be air in your line. also try cleaning your brake discs, and drums, abs sensors.

When the light comes on do you loose braking power, is there any drift, or any abnormal braking differences?

If you did'nt replace the rear hose then do it now. I went 5in and my rear hose was maxed just sitting there. You can get one for a 96 4x4 Dakota. Thats the one I went with and they are 6in longer than XJs. Works great. You might be pulling it loose or ripping it. Also 2xs on checking for leaks ,fluid and leaking wheel cylinders. Good luck.

When the light comes the braking is fine. I just filled up the resovior it was low. This acient ABS is weird, i have never seen a system like this. The kit did not come with longer lines just a bracket to move the lines. I noticed the wires for the ABS are streched to the max also.

You need to extend those also. Mine don't have abs so I dont know what to do for that.

I will probably cut them and splice in some more wire then heat shrink them backtogether. I will get that dakota line. But what about the front lines?

these are brake lines, they carry brake fluid, you cant just cut and splice in new line. you have to replace the whole line. if you go to any pick and pull junk yard you can find something to pull and longer line from.
