This is my XJ with about a 4 inch lift and 31 inch tires. looks great and performs just as well as stock IMHO. There is a little rub on the front tires when turning but I am going to trim the fenders. I would always recomend bigger tires, my brothers XJ (stock height) has 235/75R15 which is bigger than stock, but looks and performs the same.

okay this makes a lot of sence....i will be getting the "beefy" tires xj2 thanks for your input. but with that 31's being that wide would i have to get a bigger rim? cheapest i could find (that i liked) wheels and tires was $819 on jc whitney...any other good places to look?
