Yes and no.
By nature of the longer bracket ... there are more forces being put on the frame rail where the bracket attaches.
On the other hand, the aftermarket brackets tend to be a bit wider and sturdier, which spreads the stresses out over a greater area. I've yet to see any failures related to this other than people who FURTHER extend the brackets, rather than properly relocate the axle end (from extreme lift).
I don't think these brackets will do you much good for your setup. Not only are they more costly .... but you will have to spend a little extra time & money making sure that the draglink continues to remain parallel to the track bar. If not ... bumpsteer will occur.
Is it a huge expense? No ... but for someone trying to keep the costs as humanly low as possible, it's an extra thing you have to buy and muck with.

Bones .... RE has had that brace for a LONG time now too. Definitely is not required.
I've had their HD assembly on the Jeep for a long time and never needed the brace. I may make my own or buy theirs just for ***** & grins.
It all comes down to your setup and how you use the vehicle.

You're a funny guy there Mr. Sarcastic. You ought to take it on the road. I guess since you know it all about both Cherokees and Wranglers, you must know everything.
Already pulled the Trigger on the Lift, RE 3.5", ordered it from Joe yesturday

I just got an Email from Joe with the Tracking Number
Anywho, I'm just trying to deside which Track Bar to get.
We need some Pics of your lift getting installed

Better to have a bit of humor and sarcasm than to be an @$$ kisser who pimps his products and tries to turn everything into a sale. I think being how I am ... shows I'm a real person and a straight shooter. I certainly don't get sales from offering tech assistance where I can. It's just called being decent.
The smiley alone should have told you I was yanking your chain a bit.
I've only been working on trucks for 17 years now (for myself, family, and customers) ... and 20 years of wrenching in general. I hope I know a little bit about these things.
If I don't know the answer ... I've been in the industry long enough to know the people that know the answer.I assume this forum has an "ignore" feature somewhere. You're welcome to use it on me.

Here's a pic of where I'm at... Rear springs are on. I had a noisy bearing in the old Chrysler 8.25" so I took it to D&R Driveline today and they are putting all new bearings and seals in it. The best part is they are also putting a True Trac Locker in for me. That one will work best for me since this is a DD and I'm running 31's. I'll be driving this in 2 days... Had to order the True Trac. So I'll be waiting on that!

Yea, I'm attacking it from all angles! I use spring compressors but I have read posts where others do not. I think it's a good way to go. I'm a one Man show and too old to fight with things so I have to have plenty of specialty tools. Also really needed the pickle fork to separate the ball joint at the Pitman arm and needed it for removing my old trac bar ball joint. You could leave the castle nuts on the ball joints and beat on it with a hammer but there is not much room in there.
I guess guys also install the longer springs without the spring compressors... That must be fun! Not me...
Other than that the tools needed are pretty standard. RE instructions are only 1 page front and back but so far I haven't had any trouble with them. They definately keep it brief. They do say have it installed by a Professional though to cover their buts. Maybe that's why they are brief.
Did you order shocks also?
I am going to try and run it without installing the SYE. Even though it's a good idea I will see how far I can go without. I am still laid off so I don't want to spend anything I don't have to. I was going to order it the other day but stopped before I did.

Got closer today Hylander. Once I had the new lower Control Arms on I did not need the spring compressor to get the new springs on. There is a lot of little tricks to use while installing this. Do not expect RE's instructions to give all the details. I read all the technical articles I could before I installed the lift... If you haven't done so yet make sure you do...
You can PM me if you get stuck. I'll give you my phone number and you can call me.
Tomorrow I pick up my 8.25 complete with new bearings and a true trac locker. Then tomorrow afternoon I'll get the alingnment.
Exciting!

That looks Awsome
Now you need to hit some Mud, that thing is way to Clean.
I just started mine Tonight. Its not as Clean as yours
Got the LCA's on but then I had to get the Steak on the BBQ.
Will attack it again in the Morning. So far it has been pretty easy.
Still have not desided what TB or Shocks to go with.
