Stock styles stops, including extended length, are press fit. They can be pryed out with out removing the spring.
Hockey pucks can be Glued, bolted or just left to float inside the spring. I have 3 in my they are glued, with RTV, to each other and the perch. Haven't come loose after years of abuse. You do have to apply the glue AFTER inserting them into the spring.

I was wonderng if I could R&R my coils w/o a compressor too. My Rusty's 4.5" coils and coming and I've got 3"coil/2"puck with Skyjacker LCAs now. In the past, when I've let the front end drop all the way, the first thing to come in contact is actually the LCA with the LCA/lower shock bracket!
Has anyone trimmed the corner off that bracket to get more droop?? Do you think that would cause a problem?

No need to do that. When you will be able to get them out with just the shocks and sway bar disconnected. It will drop all the way down. If you need more room then take the LCA loose but until you have to I wouldnt mess with all that. PITA sometime to get them back in. Atleast for me it was. The axle was trying to move all over the place. When you take only the shock and sway bar the postion of the axle will stay basically the same just moved down.

how many hockey pucks do you think I would need for 3.5'' lift on 33's with trimmed fenders? Right now my tires are destroying my front quarter panels but i still want to keep some flex and have no way to "flex" it to see how many I need...
