Default Add-a-leaf question

the leaf springs on my 95 xj sport and sagging (like all xj's), i was looking at doing an add-a-leaf kit. i've read all the posts and threads about them, yes i realize they make the ride harsh, yes i realize they will sag, yes i realize a bastard pack can end up being cheaper but the junkyard by me is un-necessarily expensive. how long will it take for the add-a-leaf to sag? also, are the aal's from rustys offroad steel or fiberglass?

spend a little more and get the HD replacement springs from quadratec.. it will net you about 2" and you will be happier in the long run.

Rustys AAL is going to be steel.

What are you trying to achieve with the AAL? A return to stock ride height? Like mentioned before the leafs from Quadratec are not that expensive and will save you in the long run. Why would you want to just 'get by' with an AAL when you could do it once and be done?

Qtec has Standard duty springs for $75 ea. New bushings can be had from $10 to $30 dollars depending on source. HTH
