Ac recharge

Can any one tell me or show how to do the recharge on a 88 Cherokee I think it 134 a or where to connect the freon

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter

An 88 came from the factory with R12, but it could have been converted to R134A. I would suggest having a shop take a look at it, that just might save you some headaches.

+1 on having a tech inspect the system. Tinkering around the AC you could waste a lot of time and money on an AC system that is bad.

Look n see if its got a conversion. Nipple on it put a can of. 134 and make sure the compressor. Is kicking on if u need u can get the. Conversion. Kit for about 65$ with everything. Needed
