Ok, so I know this is a little out of season but am trying to get some ideas to try when spring comes around. My I start my vehicle and turn the ac on it cools great. Once I drive it out on the road and I come to town again the ac stops working for a while then marginally works until I get down the road again. To me it seems like it is kicking out on high pressure, but am not sure. Has anyone else ran into this?

No I do not have gauges, right now just seeing if my thought process is right. I did blow out the coils to make sure it has good air flow ect. The thing is I do not use air much, unless the wife is along and then only if it is really hot out so I don't get to worked up about it. But I think it is time to get it fixed.

You might take a look at the system when it quits cooling, to see if the pipes are frosted over. Sometimes moisture in the system makes frost on some parts.. Not sure what it does internally, but I had that problem a few times on other cars.
