Default Ac question?

So when I first got my jeep the ac didn't work, I figured because it sat in Oregon for 8 years that it just leaked out from not being used. I'm going to be putting in a rebuilt motor from a 92 in the beginning of summer. I confirmed that the old hoses thread onto the new pump, my current motor is a 90 and in 91 they used a pump with 4 bolts going down opposed to 2 across. My real question is should I even bother trying to get the ac running again, or is it too far gone to even bother? Or should I just rip it all out and just save the compressor for an oba set up?

It's Oregon, how long do you really need AC? Use the Renix bracket and get the AC delete from a MJ.

I agree. I would at least put a little effort into finding out where it's leaking from.
