You'll be best starting a new thread as no heat is rather different to the original post. Glad to see the info here helped your vent issue though. Also it helps if you post your year as there are some variations.

 

I dont remember if it is actually written somewhere...but I remember back when I first joined the forum I heard somewhere of the following being SOP when posting a request for help....
1. model, 2. year, 3, drivetrain (engine and trans both). then post the issue. So those assisting know the starting point with what is applicable to get at the root cause for resolve.

For me the hose got knocked of the vacuum motor in the passenger footwell. that caused the heat to always be on.
