I had my ac compressor replace but some how the bolts broke off and my serpentine belt fell. Does anyone know what size bolts it uses and where I can buy them besides the junk yard? Jeep commander 2006 5.7l

 

I'd see if there's a parts catalog available online for your year and model. There will be diagrams and possibly the specific size listed. Using the part number you can do a google search and often determine the bolt size that way or find competitively priced OEM bolts to order.

Another option is calling the dealership and seeing if they can tell you. If they have the part in stock they may be able to check the size for you if it's not apparent.

The Grand Cherokee had/has a 5.7L that I'd bet is the same setup as yours, so you may be able to find the bolt info for that and see if that's the same for your Commander.

Edit - Re: where to find them - dealership, online using the Mopar part number (the dealer can tell you this if you can't find it) or RockAuto.com (do a search on just the original part number).

 

Or you can take one of the non broken bolts to your local Ace Hardware or McFaddin & Dales. Get your self a brand new matched set of grade 8, zinc plated bolts
