Default Ac compressor

Is there any way to override it from cycling all the time?

Put the selector switch on either of the 2 white positions that don't engage the compressor or pull a fuse/relay.

If the system is sufficiently charged by weight with refrigerant the compressor should cycle very little.

Mine cycles a lot. I just don't want it cycling all the time when I have the heat on.

The 2 white positions.....the selector is pointed at the dash vents in the pic. the next position to the right sends air to the floor vents. The compressor will not engage in either of those 2 (white) positions. The compressor is engaged in any/all of the other 5 positions, but not those 2 white positions.

The temp selector **** will add heat regardless of what position the vent selector **** is set in.
