How often should the ac comp cycle when the ac is on?

 

If you have it on max ac it should stay on, any other setting depends on outside tempature. If you think it is cycling to much, then it is probably a low charge.

Do your self a favor a pay a decent shop to suck it all out, pull a vacuume, add dye, and the correct amount of refrigerent. It will save u money in the long run.
