Default AC Bypassing due to fan failure ...

So ..i've check my AC system today cause AC was not working... System have purged by the overpressure valve... Cause my Electrostatic fan doesn't work ...

DO i have any special Relay or fuse for this fan ???? Can i replace it by a junkyard piece like a taurus 3.8 fan ????

I've tried the search fonction but only gut mechanical to electrical fan result!

I think it would be pretty hard to fit the taurus fan next to the mech fan, basically one or the other.

Could control the aux fan with a thermo control that you can buy at the parts store for like ~20-30 bucks and tie that into the stock relay for the aux

thing is... it's not the termo control ..it's the fan itself! :O)

Or may i just remove both of them to place a Taurus fan wired to the thermo switch ?

There is a sensor that controls the E fan. It plugs into the thermostat housing. If you unplug it the fan should run all the time. Try that and see if the fan turns on.

Well I believe there is a relay for the fan as well. That could be bad as well but I'd check the sensor first. Seems to be a common issue
