Hey guys, I have a 91, the abs light comes on after a minute or so of driving at highway speeds. It doesn't come on in the city but it makes jerky stops. Does anyone know what this is? I've checked the wheel speed sensors and they test fine.

 

how did you check the speed sensors

 

Ohm meter and took them off and made sure there wasn't any crude on them

 

If both the front sensors and the one rear one are good, and all the tire tread are the same (ones not bald) it could be the abs module

 

Ok, thanks tcounrty. I will give that a try this weekend.

 

check out the tooths on the driveshaft, if they are rosted away, or broken. that could give those symtoms
