Did a quick search and didn't really see anything that I thought was pertinent to my situation. I just picked up a 2000 XJ with about 111k on the body and drive line. Everything stock except for the motor which has been replaced. I do have an ABS light on and am curious as to where to start to get that dang thing off. I plan on bleeding the system tomorrow but have no clue where to look after that. I do not have a CEL and all the gauges work fine. What has worked for you bedsides pulling the bulb? I need inspection and I highly doubt that trick still works.

Bleed the sides that were not stripped and checked the sensors. Didn't see anything. The light is initially off and comes on at about 10 mph. Oh and FYI the ABS light wont fail a Texas inspection unless there is another light on.
