sounds like a short to me too, maybe shuttin the hood or door is knocking a wire/connector loose, but that wouldn't explain why you have to start it with the screwdriver, how long have you been having to do that?

ok let me start from the start i got this when i got home from deployment my ex finace didnt pay the bills and got my new car repoed because she was mad at me for leaveing her well anyways i got it ran fine for 36 hours then one day it just shut off on the high way going about 60 well had it sit for a little bit thought it was gas gauge wrong went filled it up and ran fine for a couple hours went to cvs never started back up. got it towed home well i put a new cps on it and did a tune up with a new igition coil. drove fine for a few days later it wouldnt start up at all so a guy said try the screwdriver. so i did and worked well i had to start it like that for a few days then it started shuting off on me if im pressing brake to hard . but now if i shut my door or hood while running it will shut off it is also started doing half starts where it sounds like a muscle car dose. and if will shut off if i let off gas it burning rich as hell . idk anymore im tired of it i been home for 3 mouths and put more money in it then what i payed for it

well it definitely sounds like a short. check your battery cables. and EVERY ground you can find( all black wires pretty much) make sure non are torn or loose. and even better if u take them off. clean it with a wire brush then replace them. also check all your fuses. and another test is. while the car is running. plug in a cell phone charger or something. and if it dies then its most likely a short or loose ground.

Those little things bring big trouble sometimes...
Its nice to check and scan our jeeps wiring if we have a chance to avoid problems like this...
