getting a voltage reading of 14.2V off battery when I manage to get jeep running, which I believe is normal. Right after shutting of I get a 12.5V reading. Hour later 12.1V. My question is about how low will my Volt reading be before unable to start jeep? Dash reading min 9V before turning key and sometimes manages to start real slow and hard. Have to keep foot on gas for a min or it cuts out. otherwise it takes jumping off and starts right up. about whats the min voltage required to get a good start? looking at replacing battery or alternator? Battery around 2years old, about all it was due for anyway. thnks

 

Alternator sounds like it's charging. Electronics don't like below 10v... Load test battery... If it fails replace it if not you have a drain
