About to change from Ev1 to Ev6 injectors
Well I acquired a set of Ev6 injectors from a guy on ebay.
He gave me a pretty good price.
Anyways, I am waiting on the new o-rings to come in as well as the injectors themselves.
Anybody have some tips when swapping these out?
I was thinking about soaking them in FI cleaner before installing them as they are used. Any thoughts on this?
I am really looking forward to seeing the results of the swap

Engine: 4.0, bolt ons for days...
ev6? 24 pounders? i know there was a good chart on here on what flow to use per model year...
anyway, if the injectors you got were reman, just toss em in with new o-rings.. if they werent, use some diesel fuel to clean em out. FI cleaner is almost all alcohol, not gonna do much.

I got the idea from this
http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...ad.php?t=92236
they are the 0280155703 Neon injectors and they are 22.5#/hr
yea I am waiting for the new o-ring kit, after that and a little clean I think I should be good.
Does anybody know if there are any seals internally? is it a soft seat or a metal seat, that is the main thing i am worried about damaging with a cleaner
