AAL??? Noob question
so i have searched around on a few different sites and can't find the answer i'm looking for. the question is:
Are Add- A- leaf 's really that bad? For a first lift should i spend the extra dough on full leafs or would i be fine with AAL's.
Thanks for any help

It all boils down to whether or not you take your rig off-road and if so, what's the terrain? While fine for milder trails, dirt roads, and the occasional mud puddle, they aren't long for this world if you tend to travel the harder trails. I started out with a 3.5" RE AAL...it didn't make it through the first summer.

i have a 3" add a leaf Rough Country lift on my XJ. it's been 2.5 years now and no sag. I have a full size spare in the trunk too. 31" ProComp x-terrain on 15x8 soft 8s. size and dimension will give you a clue to what i carry with me everyday. also, in the trunk is a 30 foot metal chain, with a tow hitch with ball attached. I also have a 1 ounce sticker thay says, Work is for people who dont know how to fish. haha!
