99 XJ sway bar
Could anyone tell me which year model sway bars will retrofit a 99 XJ? I don't want to drop cash a on a new one so, having a range of years to choose from should expedite my process. Many thanks in advance.

I do agree with this to an extent. Sometimes people have a good reason to run one.

If you go over 25 miles an hour, having a front sway bar is worth it. You can get a sway bar from the JY super cheap. Setting it up disco with clevis pins for 10 bucks is real easy and for me it works better than my buddies jks quick discos.. But def scrap the rear one. Useless

Diesel = Can't scrap it. It's dual purpose (on the road AND in the ditches)
OnlyInMyXJ22 = Wanting to stay out of the ditches when I want to stay on the road is a pretty good reason.
Mr.White = Mine was badly bent. When I went to remove the bolts, one from each bracket broke off.........drilling out the bolts for tapping was a no-go. I built spacer plates on which I drilled the appropriate hole patterns, then tapped them for 3/8" hardware. The spacer plates will be welded to the frame and the stabilizer then mounted to them. The spacers were constructed with a piece of 1"x2"x6" piece of square pipe and a piece of 1/4"x2"x6" piece of flat bar.
VTJeep = I would definitely be concerned about the wobble. Especially when I take by son across the pavement to get to the ditches. Glad to know I can get one from any year model.
Thanks everyone for your generosity.
