Anyone know if any other Jeep seat belt latch will fit the late model XJ's. The red button drives me nuts! Sometimes you can't get the belt to latch, sometimes it gets stuck, you can't get it unlatched. Driving me nuts!

Will a Liberty or GC work. Been wanting to pull one of each at the junk yard the past few visits but keep forgetting.

Even the older XJ latch with the metal button. That would be cool.

 

Have you tried spraying a little Brakleen down into it? That might loosen dirt or trash down in there if that is the problem.

Let it dry, and spray just a little Whitelube into the latch.

Protect your interior and eyes.

It's worth a shot.
