99 xj lift
I have a stock xj and was going to get a leaf recondition and leaf added @325.00 plus add new schocks @ about280.00. My question is would i be better going w/ the OLd man emu 1.5" kit for about 750.00 ( leafs, coils and schocks included)or the RE 2" w twin tube schocks FROM 260.00. Both available from QUADRATEC. I will not run larger than 30" tires. Are they hard to install?
thanks

750.00 for a 1.5" lift is pretty steep...i'd look elsewhere for around a 3" to run 31's
imo i've never found anything cheap on quadratec either...

for something as simple as a 1.5" lift i would opt for a 2" AAl and 2" spacers for the front. the AAL will give some life back to your leaf pack and if its not enough any parts store sells leaf spring helpers.
it all comes down to what you want to do with it. for the numbers your dropping you could easily go with 3-4".
