99 XJ, Installing OME Lift... Any help appreciated!
Hello! So I've purchased an OME HD suspension that's supposed to to add 2-3" of lift. I'm not so concerned about height but more about beefing up my jeep. Along with it I got new 1" shackles too. I'm hoping to get it done in a couple weeks once life slows down enough. I'm really excited to do it but also nervous since it is my first major undertaking with the jeep. My questions for areas of concern are...
1) with the lift and shackles would a tcase drop and shims be all that's necessary right now to avoid vibrations? I would go with an SYE but money is tight right now.
2) with this lift am I going to have to worry about my trackbar/ get an adjustable trackbar?
3) anyone have any good pointers for when installing the OME kit? Seems straight forward enough but I would like to avoid all problems if possible.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

if you live in the rust belt start spraying all the bolts with pb blaster now and every day til then. tc drop is a strong probability. Lower control arms to correct caster if it doesn't come with it. Track bar, no, you can get it recentered on the front axle then drill a new hole on the axle bracket if it has moved over enough. I just used a relocation bracket at 3" with lotsa lock tite and had no problems.

What OME kit are you getting? Because if you add a 1" shackle on top of a kit that already gives you 2-3", the rear will sit an inch higher than the front, so you will need either bigger springs up front of some 1" coil spacers.

I think Im going to use stock shackles so I don't mess with the driveline too much so I can help minimize vibrations. But right now I think my power steering pulley is shot, so I've got to deal with that right now.
