99 XJ Ignition Coil tests...??

I just tested my ignition coil with a DMM. Primary resistance is 1.4 ohms and secondary was 16.61 K ohms. According the FSM, my results are out of spec meaning that the coil is bad. Would I be correct regarding this?

Here's my test, based on the '99 FSM and other aftermarket coil data.

Based on your results, if you have the OEM coil, it would be out of spec. However, if you had an aftermarket coil it could be [just] in spec.

What problem are you seeing?

Awesome info!
I have a crank no start condition. CPS checks out and replaced the cam position sensor and coil. It tries to fire better, but no joy. The coil I removed was the one I had tested. Finally had to have it towed to a dealer for a head replacement which was scheduled earlier. The crank no start condition was just the cherry on top of the cake....
