My hood sticks up over the header panel by over a quarter inch. Is it adjustable? Looks like some washers could be removed from the top of the latch catch to lower it but the back attachment point of the catch looks fixed. Do I need to remove the header panel to see the answer? Thanks

 

Yes. If you remove the bolt holding the catch, then you can remove a washer. I don't recall if you need to remove the whole header panel or just the headlight. Removing the header panel is pretty simple. 5-6 10mm nuts across the top. Remove the headlight bezel (2 screws on the top), then the front turn signal lens, then the front grill. Two nuts holding the header panel onto the fender front.
