Any ideas why the cruise would work one day then get intermittent then just quit?

 

Does your horn still honk? Any airbag light on?

 

My horn still works but yes the airbag light is on.

Uh oh, I bet you're thinking clock spring huh?
For what it's worth the cruise buttons on the steering wheel got progressively worse to operate and I would have to mash them really hard to turn cruise on/off, then I had to resort to tapping them to make the cruise come on, then one day I could never get it to work at all.

 

Just a thought, but, any chance this is related to a possible vacuum cannister problem?

 

I checked vac canister and all seems well.

I think I have an electronic issue either in steering wheel controls or elsewhere.
