Hello i have a 99 cherokee with issues...When i pull my windshield wiper lever to wash the windshield, the wipers go half way up the wind shield and stop and then the radio stops playing for a min....What is up with this thing???? How should i fix it?? thanks again for your help...

You have a wiring issue somewhere, Its hard to trouble shoot from a keyboard. You are going to have to chase wire if it is worrying you that much. How long has it been happening? What did you do to it when you first noticed the problem? That could start you in the right direction.

 

When the radio starts again do the wipers work normally? wiper motor may be seizing (case was rusted on mine) wipers would intermittentl stop whenever, only had one speed. Enough current draw to kill radio? how is the rest of your electrical sys,batt alt??

 

I run older rigs but anytime there is an issue like this it has to do with the ignition switch. Start there, it is a cheap and easy fix.

 

everything else seems to be fine...when it happens the radio will come rite back on but it takes a while for the wipers to go back down or work at all..it wierd..still not sure what to do?
