help with coil springs

Default help with coil springs

bought the 3 in rc kit did the rear today with no problem other than the broken top shock bolts but ill do that a later time and tomorrow im doing the front were can I find a write up of the install and torque specs for everything and any little tips to make it easier.also what is a good website to buy an adj trac bar and steering stabilizer and some other accesories to finish this up

Unbolt the bottom of the shocks and disconnect the sway bar and drop the axle down.Jack up one side of the axle as far as you can and slide the old springs out and new in.Same with the other side.No compressor needed for 3in springs.Go to carparts.com for stabilizer and tracbar.

One other thing to add here...
Unbolting the trackbar at the axle-end will give you a little more.
Not ALOT but sometimes its a case of "If I only had 1/4" more".

I have also heard of some putting thier stock jack between the LCA and the "frame-rail for added room...never tried it myself...never needed to.


I always go the compressor route but thats just to shorten them a bit to aid in the install.
