'99 Cherokee Turn Signals not Working
I have read posts by several other members about their turn signals not working. I wasn't able to solve my problem with that help so I ask this question. My turn signals worked somewhat for a while then after time just froze in the on position. I replaced the flasher making the turn signals good as new again. Then my friend got into a extremely minor fender bender in the jeep ( he got hit in the back bumper) and from that moment on the turn signals do not work. This is what I have done so far: I have replaced the flasher, replaced the turn signal switch, checked all the fuses, checked all the bulbs and still nothing. The lights work i.e. headlights, taillights, side markers and interior lights, just nothing when it comes to hitting that turn signal. I am at a wall and have an inspection to pass next month. Any Ideas???????????
Thanks, Matt
Thanks, Matt

wire connections
Did you check your wire harness connections in the drivers side rear quarter panel behind the spare tire?

No I didn't know there was a wiring harness back there. I am guessing you access it by taking the spare tire off then removing the panel on the inside. I will try today. Thanks

I'm having issues with my passenger side side marker turn signal light, the one on the quarter panel not the bumper. It's the only one not working.
wonder if the rear driver side panel will help me too.
I've changed the bulb and the fuse.

well i ended up giving in. I had to take the Jeep to someone because i couldn't figure the dang thing out. My mechanic said there was a wire shorting out and kept causing the fuse to blow. But i never saw any fuses blown. Anyways he fixed the problem and now my Jeep passes inspection it only cost me $52.00. Not to bad. Thanks for all your help!
