Hello All,
Well I started on the front and everything is loose and ready to come out, Only problem that I had was the lower four shock bolts all snapped.. I will get new nuts and bolts tomorrow after work and swap it all out, Should be e-z from here on in, Front was so much easier then the back, Thats for sure...

Ok Guys,
" LIFT KIT IS IN ".. I love it.. She sits real nice now, feels much tighter going down the road. The best thing is my tires no longer rub. I can actualy make a U-Turn now, HEHE..I am also changing the steering dampner as well, Just came in the mail today but it can wait till tomorrow to be put in cause I have had enough for the day.. Should make it even a little tighter.. Feels real nice...
Will post pics tomorrow during the day , It is dark out right now..
Again, thanks for all your help guys!!!

Hey guys ,
Heres a few pics of the Rough Country 3" full leaf spring lift kit installed,
Total install cost me bout 700.00 thats including all the broken bolts that I had to buy. Not sure how much a shop would charge for install..I probably did total job in 10 hours on my back.. I highly recommend a lift with power tools, And I suggest you purchase the eight bolts and nuts that are more then likely gonna break when you try to remove them ( Buy them Prior to removal Just in case)..

The rear shocks, The top bolts had no chance of coming out, They were so rusted together. They just snapped , Didnt budge, No way they were coming out, Same with front shocks but the lower bolts...
The leaf spring bolt was the one that surprised me, Had to be seized to the leaf spring sleeve, But after that one broke I didnt want to take any more chances so I just cut them out.. The torch worked well..
Need to do the front end before new shoes man.. Right side bearing or could be a u-joint making some noise... Would like to do both but my wallet not allowing that right now, Have to recover from lift bill first..

Hey How about fishing the bolts in by putting aparts grabber tool in from underneath and pull it back thru the holethreads ends first?

I used a long piece of thin fishing line ( 10lb test ), Stick one end in through the bolt hole, Grab it at the opening in the frame and tie on the bolt and pull it back through.. Took 2 secs per bolt... Real e-z to do...

Your lift came with an old guy! Cool.
I had to cut everything out of my Jeep. The upper rear nuts required going through the floor because whoever was working in the factory back in 7/92 decided to weld the **** out of them. Decent bolts can be found for free at JY, btw.
How's your shackle angle?

Ant-This post is super-helpful. Doing my rear shocks today if the rain holds off for awhile. Can I ask you (or others) what size bolts you used for the top and bottom for the shocks? I saw on another post that the top shock bolts can be M8 1.25x30mm. Did you use these and what did you do about the rear bottom shock bolts? Did they break and you re-tapped another bolt in there or were yours ok? Just trying to make it to the store before they close. I always end up doing things on Sunday which is the worst day for this kind of thing around here.
Thanks!
Thanks!
