Default '99 Cherokee. Need help with some issues.

hi all. I am a first time cherokee owner, bought a '99 about a month ago and have been working on getting it running correctly/ road worthy.
I have put more money into this dang thing than I had planned on. I bought it manly as a winter driver, also to play with.

I have a few issues that I need to resolve.
1. High idle speed. It idles around 1200 rpm or so.
2. Hard starting. I have done a complete tune up on it. I have been doing some reading, and am starting to think it may be a weak cps. Anyone have this in the past?
3. Front end vibration. I have replaced the wheel bearings and universals. The vibration seems to be a radial vibration, it doesn't really rock the steering wheel back and forth.

4. Door hinges. This cherokee is a little rough. It appears that at some time, someone backed into something and caught the drivers door. I have a jy door that I will put on when I get around to it, but the hinges are f'd up pretty good. Does anyone know if replacement hinges are available? I know they are weld on, just need to know if I can buy replacements.

Overall, I think I paid about $500 too much for this thing. I paid 1400 for it, it was worth about 900 after seeing how much Ive done to it.

Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks

1. High idle speed. It idles around 1200 rpm or so.Thoroughly clean your Throttle body, especially the IAC.
2. Hard starting. I have done a complete tune up on it. I have been doing some reading, and am starting to think it may be a weak cps. Anyone have this in the past? Get a Fuel Pressure Gauge and doa leak down test. The system should maintain 49+/- 5psi with the key on.
3. Front end vibration. I have replaced the wheel bearings and universals. The vibration seems to be a radial vibration, it doesn't really rock the steering wheel back and forth. Which u-joints? Try removing the front drive shaft and see if the vibe goes away.

4. Door hinges. This cherokee is a little rough. It appears that at some time, someone backed into something and caught the drivers door. I know they are weld on, just need to know if I can buy replacements. Here's a link for the part numbers for all Jeep parts (well almost all Jeeps). Find the P/N and call the dealers in your area.

Try removing the front drive shaft and see if the vibe goes away. I have replaced the front axle u-joints, the front d-shaft front u-joint (did not replace the double cardone u-joints), also the rear shaft joints. I can pull front d-shaft and test.

Is this part correct? It shows the same part for '84 to '01. I though they did a redesign somewhere along the way. Or is the redesign what is found on the later model cherokees.

Also, Does anyone know where I can get a factory service manual? Another question would be, Is the chilton/haynes manuals good enough?
