Default 99 cherokee hard starts

I recently got a 99 cherokee with a 4.0. In two weeks no problems until tonight. I can only get it running by giving it gas, then it runs fine. I tried again a couple of more times and all the same. It has a battery thats 2 weeks old, and no problem cranking, only starting. Is there a common problem that is happening? Maybe the problem won't be there in the morning, but I'm not that lucky.
Thanks for any ideas

Check the TPS. Does the Jeep leak any oil from the rear main seal? The crank sensor can also get oil on it and that might be the problem too.

Perform a fuel pressure leak down test.
Use the SEARCH feature as this has been discussed many, many times.
