99 Cherokee 4wd Cherokee Suspension noise
Hi every one first post and new jeep owner,
Just Got a 99 2 door Cherokee and I notice there is a clunking noise coming from the front suspension when I go over bumps. It is completely stock. Any ideas what this is?

My '98 was noisy. The front sway bar bushings were shot so it was slapping around. $12 and 20 minutes later, it was way quieter.
Have a look. Bushings should be tight around the sway bar. Any gaps, play, or wear, replace them. Once mine were out, the round hole was oval.

Mine was plagued with a CLUNK. I couldnt figure it out. I replaced Everything! all the steering system, tie rod ends, control arm bushings... shocks... to find out it was the busted drivers side motor mount....
