I put a '95 mopar remanufactured block with .030 pistons in it with a '95 head, the '99 intake, borla, bored TB, srt4 injectors, etc.

it rips. the old motor is being bored and rebuilt as a stroker. and it had an 0630 head casting, not 0331. I'm still putting the spare '95 head that I have on it, as the exhaust ports are bigger, and it has a higher nickel content in the casting.

so, long way around, it's perfectly fine. I wouldn't want the distributorless setup...too much PITA to deal with.
Srt 4 injectors work? Are they the 703s or 784s?

I'm not sure which ones they are...grabbed a set of 8 from a junkyard (from 2 different cars), had them flow tested, rebuilt, and installed 6 of them.

Oh alright, i was just curious if the srt4 ones made any significant difference over the regular injectors. Hmm

Notable power increase, and I average 22mpg mixed driving. According to the overhead console, I get 28mpg at interstate speeds. Also has torquer cam though

I think the 97s and 98s are the best of the breed.

I recently bought a 99 Classic. How can I tell the build date?

You should have a sticker on your drivers door jamb with that info.

.....I would think only very LATE build '99s would possibly have COPs.
