Default 99 4.0 strange nock

I just noticed a very strang nock on my 99 4.0. I notice at idel only. It is not consistant and I am pretty sure its not coming from the crack case. only 98 000 miles. I used a half inch conduit and suck it up 2 where each cylinder is . Listen through the pipe and the crank case and valve train sound good. Put it on water pump and think I might have found the problem if it isnt the converter bolts loose. My problem is I dont c any easy way 2 get the belt off. Hayes manual is incorrect and even the factory sticker points to a pully under the power stearing pump. That pully is stationary. I do not c a tension pully. Looks like alternater might be the best bet but it is buried at the bottom of motor. Has ac, power stearing. 1st jeep, what am I missing. I have search the net and this forum but getting aggravated. This should not be this hard. I have read the power stearing pump is the key. I cant c that. Thanks for any help

Pully under the power stearing pump is the Idler Pully and is adjustable.
To the left of the pully is a I beleive a 14mm bolt head, that adjust tension. The Bolt that goes through the Pully holds it tight.
Loosen the Pully Bolt first, then back off the adjustment Bolt to loosen the tension and remove Belt.

Thanks. I just found a thread that said the same thing. Went out 2 look at it and I think you are right. Not much adjustment there. Hope after I get the belt off the knock goes away. If not another thread said its common for the converter bolts 2 loosen.
