Ok guys, heres the deal. I recently purchased a 99 XJ with a 4.0 I-6 motor. It needed some work up front, (broken axle, etc.) Anyways I have since fixed that and got it driving. The oil pressure gauge in the dash is bottomed out at 0. Ok so I checked the oil, good, checked the sending unit, broke! So I am going to purchase a new one today and install, but I cant seem to find the wire for it anywhere. The unit appears to of been broken for awhile. My question is can somebody point me in the right direction as to where this wire enters/ or exits the main harness? What color is the wire, etc? Thanks for any help.

 

Well I found the plug (with the other half of the sending unit still attached), the previous owner must have broke it and tucked it under the big harness that runs along the motor and tied it back. I priced a dang sending unit today and it was 42 bux! I am going to do some more checking around and see if I can get a better price esle where.
