Default 98 XJ rear bumpstops

Bottomed out my rear suspension, going over some railroad tracks at a crossing today. 5 of us in there did the trick.

I was disappointed to find the factory had installed bumpstops that were about the size of my pinky finger.

Guess I'll have to keep the back seat folded down from now on.

I'm sure it is, but it was really loud & jarring. I really thought it was metal to metal contact.

I think a mild lift & some longer stops might be my answer.

The back seems to sit a little higher than the front actually.

I might just do a bastard pack on it, since it rides a little soft in the back anyway.
