Do one thing at a time. Is it a bare motor? Any accessories or manifolds?

Oh, remove the front clip as well. It can be done with it in, it just makes it a lot easier. Plus its not very difficult.

I put each accessory's bolts and hardware in a seperate bag with a slip of paper that said what they were for. Otherwise if you can put the hardware back onto the block minus the accessory, do that.

Its pretty straight forward, pulling things off is easy, you just need to make sure it all goes back together correctly. Do it in as few days as possible so you remember where it all goes.

My memory is very bad, and I have many projects, so I take many photos of any project before I start taking things apart...

Separate bags, Pics and videos are a good idea, good luck, and label all the connections.

Loosen/remove the E12 socket headed bolts at the top of the bell housing to engine before the others.

No need to pull the front clip.

Put jack under transmission, remove cross member and lower transmission.(don't forget to remove exhaust fist)
It will go down low enough to fit the socket on those bolts. Take the CPS out at the same time.

Take it back up put cross member back and carry on with the rest

They are a pretty tight fit and have to be perfectly lined up. I don't remember what size it really is but if the socket has any slack, its not the right size.

You don't want to strip those.

I believe I used about 1.5' of extensions with a swivel head on there. If you lower the crossmember side it makes it a LOT easier.
