Anyone replaced one a 98-00 model? The cylinder I believe is giong bad since you can move the key slightly and you lose 90% of your electronics in it...since I want to sell it soon I figured I would go ahead and replace it.

What I am wondering is for just the cylinder replacement would the steering wheel need to be pulled off??? I can't find a good write up on the nweer XJ's but if it it's the same as the older ones it's pretty straightforward...
