98 XJ 4.0 EL codes can't be ran?
I recently got an EL on my dash- which sucks because I put a newly remanned motor with upgraded head, and pistons, transmission, torq converter and entirely redone exhaust. She ran like a champ for 1500 miles!
Now, I have a general misfire (only based on a tach, and listening close) so I tested fuel- my regulator must be out because it won't hold pressure for more than few seconds.
But, I'd like to be able to run my OBD2 codes! I've cleaned alot of the grounds I could find. Maybe I missed a few? I can't find any loose wires or bad connections at the OBD2 port.
I've tried all national chain auto stores, plus a buddy's Snap-On OBD2 live data reader. No one was able to read anything, no connection was made.
Does anyone have any ideas what I could check next? Or where to re-look?

Ran a fuel pressure test- jumped to about 50PSI but then fastly depreciated, so I can suspect the actuator and or pump's check valve to be causing my issue. But I would like to read the live data???
Any idea where to look specifically for the OBD2 connections/grounds? Al;;l wires (8 i think) were connected securely to the port on the driver side under dash.

Don't know if you've resolved this yet, but check the wire connection at ground G102 (see pic), located on the engine block near the oil dipstick.
